APPLE CINNAMON SWIRLIES
This is a great recipe for cooking with small children. . . . no mess ! BUT, it's also a really delicious little bite-sized sweet treat, particularly good for short notice entertaining, coffee mornings or dessert dressing.
Grab a roll of puff pastry, lay out on a flat surface. Cut roll into half to have 2 retangular sheets. Smear with WILD about's Ull Spiced, add some crushed flaked almonds, chopped dates, raisins or sultanas, if you like. making sure the added bits are relatively small. Taking the long side of the pastry rectangle, carefully roll it over tightly so the filling is inside and then cut into approx 2cm portions; lay them flat on a greased baking tray or baking sheet. Glaze with a beaten egg and pop in the oven for 20 minutes at 180 degrees. Remove to a cooling tray, let cool for a few minutes and then sprinkle with icing sugar and away you go!
